On the occasion of the NOW exhibition at Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art One, My Bookcase invites visitors to contribute to the creation of a collective reading list in response to the exhibition.

Reading an exhibition together invites visitors of the Gallery’s Resource Room to recommend a book to the artists and past, present and future visitors shaping a collection of books that expands the exhibition and its themes beyond the Galleries’ walls.

Storytelling, communication, memory, loss… do these themes or the works in ​NOW​ ​at Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art One ​connect to your experiences or books you have read?

Recommendations were recorded, creating a digital reading list for NOW available online at My Bookcase Platform and the conversation continued online using #readinganexhibition Twitter and Instagram.​
